Preparing for Winter With The Right Clothing

It's freezing outside and you need proper clothes. Starting from the inside out, get some underwear, then put on some thermal underwear. Make sure to wear at least 3 shirts composed of cotton, cotton blend or flannel. This is very important in layering your clothes.

Then to top off the shirts get a sweater made of cashmere or cotton. This should make you toasty from the chest down to your belly. Time for your lower half. Get some pants made of denim, wool or corduroy. You have a lot of options here.

Now we get to the feet/hands (the extremities) and try to make them all toasty and warm with thick wool-blend socks. Add on some waterproof leather or rubber boots with Gore-Tex lining and your feet will feel snugly warm. Add some fleece or leather mittens to keep your fingers and hands warm as well.

For your face get a scarf made of fleece, flannel, or wool and wear some sunglasses or a ski mask if you are needed in some serious winter storms.

Almost forgot, the all important outerwear. You can get a heavy, hooded winter coat or wind-breaker lined with down or fur.

You should be well prepared for the winter weather with all that has just been outlined. Now get out there and enjoy the snow.
